Barnaby Briggs started playing the bass when he was 14 and trumpet a few years earlier. Now at the age of 24 he has performed and toured with Afro Moses, Russell Morris, Brian Cadd, Turnaround, Andy Firth Big Band, Australian Army Band Newcastle, The Briggs Trio, cover band Studio Four and Lachlan Evans Quartet to name a few. He has completed an advanced diploma in jazz/contemporary music performance at NMIT in Melbourne and is now playing and teaching in Newcastle
